For Nozzle 's second album Twisted Vision , which was released in September 2004 on Attack Attack Records , the band wanted to capture the feel and energy of their live performances and so recorded the songs playing together live in the studio. It features Michael Dean on drums, John Forrester on bass and Toni Haimi, formerly of All About Eve on guitar. In keeping with the band's DIY-mentality, Twisted Vision was recorded, engineered, mixed, mastered and produced by Nozzle at Flowermountain Studio in Devon.
In September 2005, Nozzle signed to Warner Music Group's label Cordless Recordings in the US and released two E.Ps, the Mystery E.P in October 2005 and the Let Me Down E.P which was released in June 2006. The band also performed an acoustic set at the Cordless launch in New York. Whilst with Cordless , Nozzle signed a deal with US independent film company Post Central Productions for the rights to use one of Nozzle's songs called "Fatal Beauty" as part of the sound track for a film called " Cherry Crush " which was released in the US in February 2007 and will be released in Europe later this year .
Since forming Nozzle have continued to tour Europe, appearing at festivals in Germany, Italy and on the main stage at the Beautiful Days festival in Devon. Nozzle recently opened for the band New Model Army at their Christmas show at the Astoria in London where they were favourably received by NMA's 1,000 strong audience.
Nozzle are currently putting the finishing touches to their third album which they are planning to release in the Autumn of 2007 on Flowermountain Records. A single called "Complicated" taken from the new album will be released on 2nd July 2007 on Flowermountain Records. |
