Friday 13th June - Live Radio Session
Nozzle will be appearing as live special guests on the Rob Wheeler Radio Show on South Hams Radio on Friday 13th June between 8pm - 9pm (GMT).
The band have recorded a session featuring songs from their new album "Empires" especially for the show and will be live in the studio with Rob chatting from 8pm. You can catch the show by tuning in to South Hams Radio 100.5 - 101.9 FM if you live in the South Hams area of Devon, or you can listen to the show online by visiting www.southhamsradio.com and clicking the listen live option.

New Nozzle album - Empires

Nozzle's third album "Empires" was released on Flowermountain Records on 12th May 2008 and is available on CD and as downloads from the usual digital download retailers. It is available from our online shop
The album features 10 new songs including the title track Empires. It was recorded, mixed, mastered and produced entirely by Nozzle at a number of different studios in Devon where the band are based. The recordings feature the live energy of a three piece rock band firing off each other in a room together as well as some carefully constructed and well crafted songs. BBC Radio Devon - Acoustic Session.
For those of you who missed it, Nozzle where featured on Vic Morgan's show on BBC Radio Devon on Monday evenings over the last few weeks. There was an interview with Nozzle's Dave Blomberg and Vic Morgan played three specially recorded acoustic versions of Nozzle's songs "Fatal Beauty", "Complicated" and the brand new song "Perfect" taken from Nozzle's soon to be completed third album.

Nozzle's first release on Flowermountain Records will be the NEW SINGLE called "Complicated" on 2nd July 2007. It will be available as a download on iTunes and other leading download websites. You can hear the single on our number1music page and download it for free if you join the Nozzle Street Team.
Cherry Crush released on DVD on 3rd July
American independent film "Cherry Crush", which was released in the US in February 2007, is released on DVD in the US on 3rd July 2007. The film features Nozzle's song "Fatal Beauty" as part of the soundtrack. Click here to see a trailer at the film's official website.
Nozzle joined by Leigh Winsor
Nozzle have been joined by Leigh Winsor on Bass guitar. Leigh, who is from Plymouth in Devon, played his first gig with Nozzle at The Hub in Exeter in May. Leigh will take over from John Forrester who has been with Nozzle since 2001. John Forrester is currently working on his own material and continues to play solo shows and bass guitar with Robb Johnson . Details are available at http://www.myspace.com/johnforrester. Nozzle albums released
Nozzle's debut album "Winter" and second album "Twisted Vision" have been re-released on Flowermountain Records. The albums are available as downloads from iTunes and other major download websites now.
Nozzle's debut album entitled "Winter" was originally released in 2001 on German independant label Viking Records. It features 12 songs that were recorded and mixed by the band in their own studio. Winter received very favourable reviews in such respected European Magazines as Metal Hammer, Zillo and Orkus and has been described by the press as a lush combination of rock guitars with a dynamic rhythm section, melodic vocals and dark, moody atmospheres. |

"Twisted Vision" was originally released in September 2004 on New Model Army's label Attack Attack Records . For their second album the band wanted to capture the feel and energy of their live performances and so recorded the songs playing together live in the studio. It features Michael Dean on drums, John Forrester on bass and Toni Haimi, formerly of All About Eve on guitar. In keeping with the band's DIY-mentality, Twisted Vision was recorded, engineered, mixed, mastered and produced by Nozzle at Flowermountain Studio in Devon. |
Fatal Beauty on film soundtrack
Nozzle's song "Fatal Beauty" which was released on the "Mystery E.P" in October 2005, has been confirmed as part of the soundtrack for an American independent film called "Cherry Crush" which was released in the US in February 2007. The song features the violin talents of Phil Beer from the group Show of Hands . Click here to see a trailer at the film's official website. More details about it's release soon.....
Here's a brief outline of the film's plot ......
"Jordan Wells, a talented, seventeen-year-old photographer struggles between falling in line with his father's plans for his future and following his desire to pursue photography. After he gets thrown out of his upscale prep school for taking provocative pictures of some of the girls in his class, he transfers into a public school and becomes involved with Shay, a beautiful girl from the other side of the tracks. As the passion of their relationship heats up, Jordan soon finds himself an accessory to murder --twice."
Nozzle set up Flowermountain Records
Nozzle have recently set up their own independant Record Label called Flowermountain Records on which they are planning to release new material in the coming months. Nozzle's first album "Winter" will be re-released on Flowermountain Records in May 2007 and will be available for the first time as downloads from iTunes and other major download websites. Nozzle have started releasing a series of audio and video Podcasts on the internet. Podcasting is a method of publishing files to the Internet, allowing users to subscribe to a feed and receive new files automatically by subscription for free.

Nozzle back in the studio
Nozzle have recently started recording new material which will be released in the spring of 2007. The tracks will be made available to everyone on our email mailing list as soon as they are ready. Nozzle are pleased to announce that the "Let Me Down E.P" was released on 6th June 2006 on Cordless Recordings. The E.P features three songs - the title track "Let Me Down", "Don't give it away" and "Years Ago". The tracks were recorded and mixed by the band in Bradford and Devon. Nozzle sign to Cordless Recordings

Nozzle have recently signed a new worldwide recording deal with Jac Holzman's Cordless Recordings in the USA.
Cordless is a new label set up by the Warner Music Group to capture the unfolding technology of the internet. The label, which was launched on 8th November 2005, have recently released The Mystery E.P by Nozzle, which features three songs from Nozzle's Twisted Vision album.

Twisted Vision

All the Nozzle band members have been busy playing and touring with other bands.
Michael Dean has been busy touring with New Model Army. The new album "Carnival" which features both Michael and Dave was released on Attack Attack Records on September 5th 2005. Details at www.newmodelarmy.org
Dave Blomberg has recently mixed a song, which both he and Michael Dean Played on, for the band New Model Army which will be released in the near future.
Toni Haimi is currently working with the band The Soho Dolls .
John Forrester is playing bass guitar for U.K singer/songwriter Wob at venues in the U.K. Details are available at www.wobmusic.com .
